Tim Howard Points, Kverneland Points and Barry Hall
Alastair Sharp has only been a Spaldings customer for 12 months but is already extremely satisfied by the level of service and quality of products he has received.
Mr Sharp, Hall Farm, Red Grave, in Suffolk, fitted Spalding Kverneland points to his seven-furrow Kverneland plough in place of genuine points that he had always used throughout his farming life.
Initially Mr Sharp was wary about using ‘non-genuine’ parts but after trialling the points was pleasantly surprised to find that the Spalding points were hard wearing and durable.
“The Spalding points turned out to be much better quality overall and are easily10% - 20% longer lasting than genuine points,” Mr Sharp says.
Following his earlier success Mr Sharp agreed to trial Spaldings Tim Howard Subsoiler points against Pan Anglia’s, as they were becoming increasingly difficult to source. Mr Sharp found that, “The Spaldings points came way ahead and had double the life span of Pan Anglia’s”.
Mr Sharp concludes: “I am very satisfied with the quality of Spaldings products and also the level of service that I receive. I can tell you the best thing about having a Spaldings rep visit my farm; he really knows what he is talking about and he can give me detailed advice”.
